Nintendo's Switch 2 has been criticised for a thin first-party calendar, but 2027 looks much fuller. Notebookcheck counts at least five Switch 2 exclusives already on the schedule, with a rumoured sixth. Here is every confirmed game, what we know about each, and what is still only a rumour.

Which Switch 2 exclusives are confirmed for 2027?

Nintendo's own store page says Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves will launch exclusively on Switch 2 in a simultaneous worldwide release in 2027, with an open world and a first partner Pokémon reveal. No month has been given.

What do we know about Metroid Ravenous?

GamesRadar lists Metroid Ravenous for January 28, 2027, as a new 2D Metroid. In the debut trailer Samus is injured on a mysterious moon and appears to drain the life from enemies to survive. It was announced in a Nintendo Direct on September 9, 2026, and it is a new entry, not a remake.

Is The Duskbloods still a Switch 2 exclusive?

Which third-party games are heading to Switch 2 next?

Notebookcheck highlights several big third-party names expected on the console: Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Persona 4 Revival, Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts IV and Resident Evil Veronica. Their dates and final platform details can still change, so treat the list as a pipeline, not a locked schedule. The Witchbrook cosy-life game is dated January 28, 2027 too.

Is a new 3D Mario coming in 2027?

This is a rumour. Leaker NateTheHate has claimed a new 3D Mario could arrive in 2027, possibly a follow-up to Super Mario Odyssey. Nintendo has not announced anything, so do not count it as confirmed.

What is coming before the new year?
