What is the status of the Assassin's Creed series?

It is the closest to your screen. A formal series order came in July 2025, cameras rolled at Rome's Cinecittà Studios on March 9, 2026, and the shoot ended in mid-October. Production listings point to Ancient Rome in the early reign of Nero, but Netflix has not confirmed the setting. Heavy VFX work is why late 2027 is the earliest guess.

What do we know about the PUBG series?

Netflix and Krafton say Donald Glover will write, direct, executive produce and star, with his brother Stephen also writing. Krafton's entertainment arm LV3H is involved. There is no plot, extra casting or episode count, and scripts have not been written, so What's on Netflix does not expect it before 2028. It is separate from the PUBG anime Krafton announced in 2021, which has gone quiet. For the story so far, read our PUBG series report, and see BGMI vs PUBG if you play in India.

What's on Netflix says The Division was confirmed cancelled, Far Cry is now at FX/Disney, and Horizon Zero Dawn is a Sony Pictures movie. Beyond Good and Evil, Skull and Bones, Carmen Sandiego and Mega Man are described as inactive or unclear.

Which Netflix game shows can you watch right now?

The list includes Arcane, Castlevania, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft and Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, which has a second season on the way. Devil May Cry is heading to a third and final season. Track game launches on our upcoming releases calendar.

Expect Assassin's Creed first, in late 2027. Everything else is two or more years out, and release dates can slip.
