When does Pokémon Unite shut down in India?
The official notice gives 00:00 UTC on Tuesday, March 23, 2027. In India that is 5:30 AM IST the same day. After that moment you cannot log in or play any match, including battles against computer opponents. Until then the game stays fully playable.
Can I still buy gems or Unite Club?
No. Gem sales and new Unite Club memberships stopped on October 27, and automatic renewals were suspended. Gems you already own can still be spent in the shop until the servers close, and an active membership keeps its perks until it expires, according to Japanese and Spanish coverage of the notice.
What is the Nov 12 update and the offline library?
The November 12 update adds a farewell event where logins, missions and matches earn Unite Coins. PokeQuery reports the coins can be exchanged for previously released items such as Unite Licenses, Holowear and trainer fashion. The update also adds a "library" that lets you view owned items, achievements and the practice area after shutdown.
The catch: MMOs.com stresses that the library only works if you complete its data download before March 23, 2027. PokeQuery adds that this data cannot be moved between devices and lost data may be unrecoverable. So download it on the device you play on, early.
Will I get a refund for unused gems?
Reports differ, so be careful. Japanese outlet PixMofu says unspent paid gems will be refundable at shutdown, with free bonus gems excluded, with instructions to follow on the official site after the end of service, and that you should not delete the app before the refund is done. By contrast, INSERT FUTURE says the notice it read does not mention refunds. Refund terms can vary by region, so check the official Pokémon UNITE announcement for your country before spending or uninstalling.
Why is Pokémon Unite shutting down?
The company did not give a reason, according to Nacionale. We will not guess. Mobile alternatives are covered in our guide to upcoming free games, and you can browse freebies on the deals page.
