GeForce NOW India 4-Month Plans: ₹3,499 Price and Savings

NVIDIA has added four-month GeForce NOW memberships in India: Performance for ₹3,499 and Ultimate for ₹6,999. The plans went live around October 29-30 (NVIDIA's own blog said "tomorrow" on October 29, while Indian outlets reported them live the same day). They carry the same benefits as the monthly tiers, but you pay less per month if you commit to four months at once.
The timing is no accident. GPU prices keep climbing, Phantom Blade Zero just landed on Steam, and NVIDIA added the game to its cloud library the same week. Here is what the new plans cost, how much you actually save, and who should bother.
Quick summary
- Performance (4 months): ₹3,499 vs ₹3,996 if you pay ₹999 monthly four times, so you save ₹497.
- Ultimate (4 months): ₹6,999 vs ₹7,996 at ₹1,999 monthly, so you save ₹997.
- Monthly plans stay on sale; the four-month option is an addition, not a replacement.
- Phantom Blade Zero joined the library on October 29, plus eight other games.
- You still need to own the games on Steam or Epic. The membership does not include them.
How much do GeForce NOW four-month plans cost in India?
Techgenyz and Gizbot both work out the savings against the regular monthly prices of ₹999 (Performance) and ₹1,999 (Ultimate). The Times of India rounds those to roughly ₹1,000 and ₹2,000 and arrives at savings of "around" ₹500 and "just over" ₹1,000, which matches.
| Plan | 4-month price | 4 x monthly price | You save | Effective cost per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Performance | ₹3,499 | ₹3,996 | ₹497 | about ₹875 |
| Ultimate | ₹6,999 | ₹7,996 | ₹997 | about ₹1,750 |
That is a discount of roughly 12 percent on both tiers. It is a modest saving, not a flash sale, and it requires paying the full amount upfront. If you only play one big game a month, the monthly plan lets you quit sooner without locking in cash.
What do Performance and Ultimate actually give you?
According to the Times of India's breakdown, Performance streams at up to 1440p and 60 fps with six-hour sessions. Ultimate runs on RTX 5080-class hardware, supports up to 5K at 360 fps in supported games, adds DLSS 4 and NVIDIA Reflex, and allows eight-hour sessions. Those headline numbers depend on your screen, your device and especially your internet connection, so treat them as ceilings.
Both tiers share a monthly cap of 100 hours of premium playtime. Techgenyz, citing NVIDIA's published terms, adds that up to 15 unused hours can roll over. The same page notes that when you run out, you can buy extra hours or keep playing with basic-tier benefits until the allowance resets. Check the exact terms shown for your plan on NVIDIA's India page before paying.

Which games joined GeForce NOW this week?
NVIDIA's GFN Thursday post lists nine additions:
- Phantom Blade Zero (Steam, released October 28)
- ATMOSFAR
- Hunting Simulator 3
- Queen's Domain
- Dimraeth
- Dressmaker
- Halloween (Epic Games Store)
- Hell Let Loose: Vietnam (Epic Games Store)
- The Seance of Blake Manor
NVIDIA also says availability can vary, because games are onboarded after release and added through the week. Separately, in-game mod.io support is now live for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered. Techgenyz points out that this does not mean mod support for Phantom Blade Zero.
Can you play Phantom Blade Zero on GeForce NOW without a gaming PC?
Yes, if you own the game on Steam. NVIDIA describes Phantom Blade Zero as a kungfupunk action game built on Unreal Engine 5, and it says GeForce NOW handles downloads and storage, so you skip the big install. Ultimate members get RTX 5080-class cloud performance on PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, browsers and compatible TVs.
The catch is combat. Phantom Blade Zero is about tight dodges and deflects, so latency matters more than it would in a slow RPG. If you already have a decent rig, our best PC settings guide may be the better route; if not, cloud is a legitimate way in.
Is GeForce NOW cheaper than upgrading your GPU in India?
Hardware prices make the question fair. Hardware Unboxed's October tracking, covered in our GPU price report, found the RTX 5080 rose 22 percent in a single month. Renting RTX 5080-class performance for ₹1,750 a month looks very different next to that.
A simple calculation (ours, not NVIDIA's): twelve months of Ultimate on three four-month plans is ₹20,997, compared with ₹23,988 on twelve monthly payments. That is real money, but you never own anything at the end, and you still buy every game separately. If you play heavily, cap out at 100 hours, or have unstable broadband, a local GPU still wins over time.
What is the World of Warcraft: Forever reward?
NVIDIA says World of Warcraft: Forever arrives on GeForce NOW on Wednesday, November 4 at 3 p.m. PT, which is about 4:30 AM IST on November 5. A launch-week access reward will be offered to members on every tier, but only to new WoW players without an existing subscription. It runs until November 11, 11:59 p.m. PT (around 1:29 PM IST on November 12), is first-come first-served, and is claimed in the GeForce NOW Account Portal while supplies last.
Should you buy the four-month plan?
- Buy it if you know you will use GeForce NOW for four months, have fast and stable internet, and already own your games on Steam or Epic.
- Stay monthly if you just want to try one game or are unsure about your connection; try a day pass first, which NVIDIA says can count toward a first monthly upgrade.
- Skip it if you already game on a capable PC or laptop. Our look at NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops shows where local hardware is heading.
