Fortnite Treasure Hunters: One Piece Start Time in India, Skins

Fortnite's next mini-season, Treasure Hunters, starts on November 1, 2026 and puts One Piece at the centre of Battle Royale. Epic Games has confirmed a new 80-player island called Crossbones Isle, a Battle Pass headlined by Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin, and a Chapter 7 finale event on December 5. Here is everything Epic and the press have confirmed so far, with the India start time worked out for you.

What time does Fortnite Treasure Hunters start in India?

Epic has not published a single downtime-to-live clock time in its announcement, so treat any number as an estimate. Epic's own post says the first Captain's Day kicks off with the season on November 1 at 9 AM ET. Because US clocks go back on the night of October 31 to November 1, 9 AM ET that day is Eastern Standard Time, which works out to about 7:30 PM IST. Several outlets citing dataminers expect servers to come up earlier, around 7 AM ET, which would be roughly 5:30 PM IST. Expect a few hours of downtime before that, so a window of roughly 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM IST on Sunday is the safe bet. Update the game on your platform before then so you can drop in as soon as servers open.

What is Crossbones Isle?

Crossbones Isle replaces the current Chapter 7 Battle Royale island for the length of the mini-season. It holds a maximum of 80 players rather than the usual 100, and GameSpot notes it has much more water than the Chapter 7 map. Epic says you can climb into a cannon to launch across the island and visit locations from One Piece, including Arlong Park and Windmill Village. A$AP Rocky also gets a battleship point of interest called the $.$. Rocky, where you can rain rockets down with his Shock Rocket.

The map will not stay the same. Each week a new captain arrives with a crew and takes over a point of interest. The order Epic has given is the Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky first, then Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto. Epic also teases treasure hidden around the island, including whatever sits inside Captain X's mega chest.

Which One Piece powers can you use?

This is the headline gameplay hook. Epic confirmed that players can pick up abilities inspired by the anime's characters:

• Gum-Gum Fruit (Luffy) for stretchy, rubber-style attacks.
• Flame-Flame Fruit (Ace) for fire-based abilities.
• Three Sword Style (Zoro) for close-range sword combat.
• Usopp's slingshot for ranged play.

The gameplay trailer also shows players capturing Sprites and using special sneakers that let them spin through the air like helicopters, according to ComingSoon's coverage of the footage.

What is in the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass?

This is not a full collaboration pass like the Simpsons and Star Wars passes from 2025. GameSpot points out that only two One Piece characters are in the pass: Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin. The rest of the pass is anime-styled versions of Fortnite originals: Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. Epic's post also says that if you gift the Battle Pass to a friend, both of you get a bonus Dark Kawaii Team Leader style.

Epic has not listed a V-Bucks price in the announcement we read, so check the in-game Battle Pass screen once the season is live rather than trusting early guesses.

When do the One Piece skins hit the Item Shop?

Everything outside the Battle Pass is sold in the Item Shop, and the skins arrive in waves. Epic's schedule:

The Item Shop normally refreshes at 7 PM ET, which is 5:30 AM IST the next morning, so the November 5 Rocky drop should show up on the morning of November 6 in India. Vice lists the first three One Piece skins at 7 PM ET on November 1 in its shop schedule, which would be early on November 2 in India.

What are Captain's Days, Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours?

Captain's Days are timed drops of new weapons and Sprites on the map. The first starts with the season on November 1, with more on November 7, 12, 14 and 21. On top of that, Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays run throughout the season, adding Captain's weapons to the start of every match, boosted drops and more.

When does Chapter 7 end?

Epic told players to keep Saturday, December 5 free for the Chapter 7 end event, with no further detail yet. Competitive players should also watch fortnite.com/competitive for One Piece cups. GameSpot also notes that the mini-season arrives as Fortnite faces the launch of GTA VI in late November, so Epic is clearly bringing serious firepower. If you like Fortnite, the answer is easy: the season is a free update, the map is new, and the powers give Battle Royale a fresh feel. If you only care about skins, remember that most of the One Piece lineup is in the Item Shop and will cost V-Bucks, so decide on your budget before the shop starts rotating.
