Fortnite Devil Fruit: How to Get Gum-Gum, Flame-Flame, Swords

Fortnite's Treasure Hunters mini-season, live since November 1, 2026, adds One Piece powers you pick up in a match. Two Devil Fruits (Gum-Gum and Flame-Flame) and Zoro's Three Sword Style are the headline items. Here is where to find each and what they do, based on Epic's launch notes and guides from Destructoid, Beebom and TalkEsport.
Quick summary
- Gum-Gum Fruit turns you into Luffy; Flame-Flame Fruit turns you into Ace.
- Both fruits appear mid-match with a lobby alert and a marked location, first come, first served.
- Zoro's Three Sword Style is an Epic melee weapon found mainly in chests.
- You do not need to buy any skin to use these items.
How do you get the Gum-Gum Fruit in Fortnite?
There is no fixed spawn. Beebom reports the fruit spawns through a Rift event, and every player in the lobby is alerted to its marked location on Crossbones Isle. When someone eats it, a message is broadcast to the lobby. Destructoid adds that fruits spawn at several spots each round and that a Gum-Gum and Flame-Flame spawn can sit together. Pick it up and add it to your inventory to transform.
What can the Gum-Gum Fruit do?
You become Luffy for the rest of the match. Per Destructoid, the primary attack is a rubber punch dealing 50 damage (a kick if you are airborne). The alt fire launches you where you aim, and charging it increases distance, with a cooldown. Beebom lists the three abilities as Gum-Gum Pistol, Rocket and Battleaxe.
How do you get the Flame-Flame Fruit?
It follows the same rules: a mid-match spawn with a lobby alert. You become Ace. Primary fire shoots projectiles at 30 damage per hit; the charged alt fire is a large flame that deals continuous area damage, according to Destructoid.

Where do you find Zoro's Three Sword Style?
It is an Epic-rarity melee weapon in Battle Royale, Zero Build and Reload. TalkEsport says it comes mainly from chests, can also appear as floor loot, and has no guaranteed location. Technerdiness cites Fortnite.GG data of an 8.2% chest drop rate versus 0.56% for floor loot, so open chests in busy POIs such as Arlong Park or Windmill Village. TalkEsport lists Slash at 45 damage per hit (70 on the third, 160 for the full combo) and a charged Dash for 100 damage with a 12-second cooldown.
Do Devil Fruits count for One Piece quests?
Yes. Games.gg notes one quest needs 700 damage with Three Sword Style, and another needs 250 metres using the Gum-Gum Rocket. Both totals carry across matches. Technerdiness estimates one full-charge launch covers about 200 metres, so plan on two launches. Treat that estimate as approximate.
Verdict: which one should you chase?
| Item | Best for | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Gum-Gum Fruit | Mobility and quest | Rift alert |
| Flame-Flame Fruit | Ranged damage | Rift alert |
| Three Sword Style | Close fights | Chests |
Chase the fruits when the alert pops if you are near; otherwise farm chests for the swords.
