Want to play BGMI Air before everyone else? Krafton India is running a closed beta from November 20 to 24, 2026, and entry works through a social media application rather than a simple sign-up. Here is exactly what the published reports say you need to do.

Quick summary

Dates: November 20 to 24, 2026
Cities: Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata
How to apply: post a video, tag the official handle, submit the form
Selection: Krafton picks participants from applications

How do I apply for the BGMI Air closed beta?

Record a short video explaining why you deserve early access.
Post it and tag the game's official Instagram handle.
Submit the application form linked in the bio of the official BGMI Air and BGMI Instagram accounts.

Fone Arena lists the official BGMI account as @battlegroundsmobilein_official. Only use links in the bios of official accounts, because beta invites are a common bait for scams.

Which cities get the beta?

Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Reports describe the test as running in select regions, so players elsewhere cannot assume access. Krafton has not said whether the form checks your location.

Does a pre-registration guarantee a slot?

No. The game has over 14 million Google Play pre-registrations, but the beta is a separate, selective process and Krafton says it will choose participants from submitted applications. Pre-registering still matters for launch day on December 10.

How to make your application stand out

Krafton has not published judging criteria, so this is our suggestion rather than a rule: keep the video short, say which phone and storage limits you play with, and mention what feedback you would give. The beta exists to gather performance feedback, so entry-level device users are a natural fit.

What happens after the beta?

The full launch follows on December 10 with an approximately 1GB initial download. Read the full details in our BGMI Air launch date report, and see the launch calendar for other dates.
