Which new maps arrive in Season 1?
Three Multiplayer maps launch with the season. Backstab is a new medium 6v6 map with a layout inspired by Burgundy from Call of Duty 2. Canyon is another new medium 6v6 map. Shoot House is a reimagined version of the fan-favourite. Season 1 Reloaded adds Ministry, Overflow and more.
What new modes are coming?
Drop Zone returns: teams fight over a rotating objective while airdrops deliver Killstreak packages. Gauntlet 1v1 Gunfight is a limited-time mode tied to the Wager Match event, where the winner stays on. A new Kill Block combination called Crash, built around a helicopter wreck, is chosen from the most popular beta setups. Reloaded will add Counter Attack, a bomb-the-comm-station mode.
What is new in DMZ?
DMZ gets Designation X01, an underground weapons facility reached by deploying through Hajin. Ghost acts as Watcher for new Orders. Threat Briefing events send squads after a North Korean main battle tank or The Captain, and Resupply Run trades items for gear like Self Revives. Our X01 guide goes deeper.
Which weapons and attachments are coming?
The Cronen Osprey AR and CSG-35 SMG come via the Battle Pass (see our battle pass rundown). The JAK 12 shotgun and ZLR Talonhawk melee are event rewards. Apex attachments for the Hyeon Burst and Kastov 762 come through the Wager Match event, an M16 Burst attachment is an event reward, and a TT Iron Guard Kit and ChainSAW Grip are planned.
How does the Wager Match event work?
You collect Trophies through challenges in Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone, and spend progress toward rewards. Top-three finishers get extra prizes, and mastery rewards include an operator skin, blueprint, camo and Apex attachments. A Joint Fire event with squad XP boosts and camo events follow later.
