When does BGMI Air launch in India?

The official launch date is December 10, 2026. Krafton has not published a launch time in the reports we checked, so treat any specific hour you see online as unconfirmed until the developer posts it on its official channels.

How big is BGMI Air?

The initial download is approximately 1GB. That is the whole point of the game: it targets people with entry-level phones or little free storage who struggle to install or run the full BGMI. Krafton says it keeps the core battle royale gameplay. Note the word "initial": the company has not said whether in-game resource packs will add to that figure later.

Do I need a new account for BGMI Air?

No. Reports say existing BGMI players will be able to access BGMI Air without migrating their accounts. Fone Arena notes that BGMI Air runs as an independent app, so it installs separately from the main game. Krafton has not yet detailed how progress, items or rewards will carry across, so wait for official word on that.

What is the BGMI Air closed beta?

Before launch, Krafton will run a closed beta from November 20 to 24 in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. To apply you post a short video explaining why you should get early access, tag the official game handle on Instagram and submit the form linked in the bio of the official BGMI Air and BGMI accounts. Krafton will pick participants from the applications.

What is still unknown?

Krafton has not revealed supported devices, minimum system requirements, the full feature list or pre-launch rewards. The studio says it will share pre-launch events and rewards on its official social channels before December 10. We will update this page when those details land.
