Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 costs ₹4,999 on Steam India for the Standard Edition, while the PlayStation and Xbox stores list it at ₹5,999. The Vault Edition runs ₹7,698 on Steam and ₹8,249 on PlayStation and Xbox. Here is what each edition includes and which one is worth buying.

PlayStation Store India: Standard ₹5,999, Vault ₹8,249 (per retail and store listings).
Xbox Store India: Standard ₹5,999, Vault ₹8,249, with the Windows Vault Edition at ₹7,698.

What is the Modern Warfare 4 price in India?

Store	Standard	Vault Edition
Steam India	₹4,999	₹7,698
PlayStation Store India	₹5,999	₹8,249
Xbox Store India (console)	₹5,999	₹8,249
Xbox Store India (Windows)	listed on the store	₹7,698

Prices were read from official store pages and price trackers in late October 2026 and can change with sales or regional adjustments, so confirm the total at checkout. Steam is the cheapest route for PC players, a full ₹1,000 below the console stores for the Standard Edition.

What is in the Vault Edition?

According to the Xbox store listing and Call of Duty's official site, the Vault Edition bundles the base game with:

Hostile Alliance Operator Pack (Blix, Ghost, Valeria and Price skins)
Special Forces Operator Pack
Signature Weapon Collection (including a combat knife and weapon blueprints)
DMZ Deployment Bonus
BlackCell for one season
Content Pack 1

Everything in the Vault is cosmetic or a convenience bonus. It does not change the campaign, multiplayer or DMZ content in the base game.

Is the Vault Edition worth the extra money?

On Steam the premium is ₹2,699, on the consoles ₹2,250. That mostly buys you skins and a season of BlackCell, the premium battle pass tier. If you plan to buy the battle pass each season anyway, the Vault can make sense. If you only want to play, take the Standard Edition. Because a Vault upgrade exists at $30 for Standard owners, you can start cheap and upgrade later without losing the base purchase.

What about Switch 2 and Game Pass?

MW4 also launched on Nintendo Switch 2, and the official site lists it alongside PS5, Xbox, Steam and Battle.net. India-specific Switch 2 prices were not confirmed in the sources checked, so we have left them out rather than guess. Per launch coverage, MW4 is not on Game Pass and is a standalone purchase, so there is no subscription shortcut.

How do the editions compare in dollars?

Globally, Steam lists $69.99 for Standard and $99.99 for Vault, a $30 gap that matches the upgrade price. In India the gap is wider than that conversion suggests on consoles and Steam alike, which is why Steam is the better value for PC players. Regional pricing can shift, so check again close to purchase.

Where should I buy MW4 in India?

Buy on the platform you play on, since progress and purchases do not transfer freely between stores. PC players get the lowest rupee price on Steam. Console players pay the same on PlayStation and Xbox, and physical PS5 copies have been listed at ₹7,499 by at least one Indian retailer, so digital is cheaper. Before you buy on PC, check the MW4 PC requirements, because TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are mandatory. New to the game? Read the Season 1 guide, and check our deals page for discounts.
