Petit Planet System Requirements and File Size (PC, Mobile)

HoYoverse has not published final system requirements or a download size for Petit Planet's December 4, 2026 launch. The only official numbers are the recommended specs from the Final Beta (connection test) FAQ of August 26, so they are the best guide for now.

Quick summary

• PC (beta recommended): Windows 10+, Core i5 11th gen or Ryzen 5 5000, RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT, 16 GB RAM, about 18 GB storage.
• iOS: iOS 14+, 4 GB RAM, about 10 GB. Android: Android 9+, 6 GB RAM, about 12 GB.
• These are beta recommendations, not the final minimum spec; Epic's page still lists PC requirements as TBD.
• Pre-download opens December 1. The game is free to download.

What are the Petit Planet PC requirements?

Sources including Gurugamer and the fan guide petitplanet101 trace these to the August 26 test FAQ. They describe a recommended tier, so a weaker PC may still run the game at lower settings, but nothing official confirms that.

What do iOS and Android need?

For the beta, iOS needed iOS 14 or later on iPhone XS or newer (iPhone XR excluded) with 4 GB RAM and about 10 GB free; iPads with equal or better chips were supported. Android needed Android 9 or later, a Snapdragon 855, Dimensity 1000 or Kirin 990 class chip or better, 6 GB RAM and about 12 GB free. Emulators were not supported in the test.

How big is the Petit Planet download?

No official launch size exists yet. The beta figures of roughly 18 GB on PC, 10 GB on iOS and 12 GB on Android are the closest numbers, and launch builds often grow. Free up space before the December 1 pre-download.

Where do you download it?

PC players can use the Epic Games Store or the official client; mobile players use the App Store or Google Play. It is not on Steam. A Switch 2 version is coming in 2027, as covered in our livestream recap. More launch facts are in the release date guide, and you can watch other launches on our upcoming games calendar.
