PUBG Mobile's 4.7 update is scheduled for November 12, 2026 on global servers, and it brings a frozen version of Erangel. Indian players want to know when BGMI gets the same content. Krafton India has not confirmed a BGMI 4.7 date, so any date you see for India is an estimate.

PUBG Mobile 4.7 (global): November 12, 2026, per the game's own social posts as reported by outlets.
BGMI 4.7: unconfirmed. Some outlets point to around November 17 to 19, based on how earlier updates trailed the global version.
Headline feature: Erangel Subzero winter mode, plus the Ancient Beast theme mode.
BGMI Air, the lighter version, is a separate launch on December 10, 2026.

When is the BGMI 4.7 update release date in India?

There is no official date yet. Krafton India usually announces BGMI updates only shortly before they go live. Gamuters and other outlets suggest the same items and rewards could reach BGMI roughly 17 to 19 November. Treat that as a guess until Krafton India posts on its official channels.

What is the Sub-Zero winter mode?

According to the in-game story described by LDShop and Gamuters, satellites crash onto Erangel and leak cryogenic gas. Areas such as Stalber, Shelter, Sosnovka Military Base and Boatyard freeze, some water freezes over, and part of the Military Base bridge is damaged. Tactical items such as a liquid nitrogen bottle and Snow Mist Smoke Grenade are reported for the mode. Gamuters says Sub-Zero is the secondary mode and arrives on December 3, while Ancient Beast is the main theme at launch.

What else is coming in 4.7?

Reported additions include Glyph Skills and the Aurora Pegasus vehicle, a Rune Power System, a Royale Pass A22, an upgradeable X-Suit, Gilt sets and the Hola Buddy companion. PUBG Mobile also teased an M416 Glacier switch effect, which Outlook Respawn says may reach BGMI but is unconfirmed, and its upgrade cost is not disclosed.

Will the old theme modes return?

Gamuters reports that the older modes are not returning this time. The PowNin companion is said to come back for the winter event.

How does BGMI Air fit in?

BGMI Air launches in India on December 10, 2026, with a closed beta from November 20 to 24 in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. It is a different build for low-end phones, with a download of around 1GB. See our BGMI Air launch guide and the closed beta application guide.

How should you prepare?

Free up several GB of storage, keep the game updated from Google Play, and wait for Krafton India's own announcement before downloading any APK from third-party sites, since unofficial files risk account bans and malware. Check the launch calendar for other dates.
