Epic has confirmed a Chapter 7 end event for Saturday, December 5, 2026, but it has not said what time it starts. Epic's only wording, in its Treasure Hunters news post on October 30, was to "keep Saturday, December 5, open" because "time is on your side... for now." This page collects what is confirmed and what is still a guess.

Quick summary

Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026 (confirmed by Epic).
Start time: not announced. Past Chapter 7 finales were posted in Eastern Time, so expect an evening slot in India on the same date or the early hours of December 6.
Rewards, location and replay: not announced.
Chapter 8: no name or date from Epic.

What time does the Fortnite Chapter 7 end event start in India?

Epic has not published a start time, so any IST time you see is a guess. Outlets such as Lootrundown and TimeSaver say they will add a converted time once Epic posts it. Epic usually publishes the hour a few days ahead on its status page and social accounts. When it does, add 9 hours 30 minutes to US Eastern Standard Time to get IST in December (Eastern drops to UTC-5 after the clocks change).

What is the event called and what do we know?

Shacknews reports the event is referred to as "The End", though Epic's own post only says "an unforgettable Chapter 7 end event". Treasure Hunters, the current mini-season, began on November 1 and brings Crossbones Isle, an 80-player map with One Piece locations. See our One Piece skins and Item Shop schedule for the weekly drops before the finale.

Is Chapter 8 starting on December 5?

Unconfirmed. Leakers HYPEX and ShiinaBR have been cited as pointing to a December 5 start for Chapter 8, but Epic has said nothing, and The Big Lead has speculated about December 1 instead. Treat all of this as rumour until Epic announces it. Fortnite OG's Season X is reported to end around December 4, a day earlier.

When does the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass end?

Beebom says the in-game pass expires with the mini-season on December 5, but Epic has only dated the event, not the pass shutdown. Check the countdown in game before leaving rewards unfinished. If you are deciding whether to buy it, read is the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass worth it.
