What are the Anniversary Editions?
EA says these editions keep the original look, feel and creative intent while adding quality-of-life updates for modern systems, controls and performance. They were inspired by the discovery of a physical media vault holding thousands of Betacam, VHS and D1 tapes. From that material EA recovered master video sequences and re-edited them to restore more than 1,500 scenes. The Wing Commander releases also officially include some community-made mods.
