Will The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel come to PS5? Nobody outside Microsoft knows yet. Bethesda revealed the title on November 3, 2026, but did not announce platforms, a release date or gameplay.

What has Bethesda confirmed?

Only the name. The reveal came at the end of a video marking 40 years of Bethesda Game Studios, and the Xbox Wire post was essentially the logo. Bethesda said it will be "some time" before more is shared. A document made public in the 2023 FTC v. Microsoft case suggested an Xbox and PC launch, according to The Escapist. That is a planning document, not an announcement.

Could it launch with the next Xbox?

IGN's commentary speculates Sentinel and the next Xbox, Project Helix, could both land around fall 2028, and expects an Xbox Series X version is very likely because publishers favour cross-generation releases. That is opinion, not an announcement; GameSpot notes it is unknown whether the game targets Series X|S, Helix or both.

Should you wait before buying a console?
